SYLO FOUNDATION
SYLO FOUNDATION

The SYLO Foundation was created to provide emergency food intervention where and when needed, and to provide the access to education, inputs, and markets that are critical for food systems to flourish in developing markets.

The foundation was started by a group of women from around the globe who have a heart for building systematic solutions to promote real and lasting economic prosperity derived from better agriculture and improved food systems. The primary donor to the foundation is the World Food Bank Group, a for profit but benevolently missioned commodity trading and storage organization.  Together they plan to lift more than 100 million people out of poverty by 2030.

Here is how SYLO Foundation is going to accomplish its goals:

FUNDING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
IN FOOD SECURITY

The formula guidelines are below:

  • SYLO Foundation supports systematic approaches to food security that improve soil quality, seed quality, water quality, animal quality, as well as the quantity and quality of production.
  • SYLO Foundation supports the expansion of educational platforms that teach good agricultural practices, provide customized weather and market information, and connect farmers with financing and markets.
