Julie Fellows

Julie is a financial services executive, independent corporate director, and an advisor to boards and C-suites skilled in leading transformational change initiatives. She understands the challenges posed in today’s environment of escalating complexity and disruption and applies expertise in financial services and enterprise risk management practices, emerging technologies including blockchain technology, and cybersecurity to help innovative organizations capitalize on market opportunities.

Julie is actively involved in the digital asset ecosystem, serving as CEO and chair of the board for BankWyse, a de novo Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI) as it moves to become one of the first regulated financial institutions providing secure, integrated commercial banking and Qualified Custody of digital assets. Additionally, Julie serves as: a Member of the Advisory Board for the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association (GDCA), a global self-regulatory association for the digital asset & cryptocurrency industry established to guide the evolution of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and the underlying blockchain technology within a regulatory framework and formerly served as an Independent Director for Namasté Solar, a solar energy company pioneering conscientious business practices. Julie is the Founder of J.A. Fellows and Associates, an executive consulting firm providing strategy development, cybersecurity, credit and enterprise risk management services, and collaborative leadership programs. Julie’s prior roles include senior executive roles in financial services and as a federal regulator with the US Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

With over 20-year leadership experience as a trusted advisor to CEO, she is known for her ability to solve complex strategic issues and large-scale regulatory challenges. Julie is a Qualified Financial Expert (QFE) under SEC requirements, a Certified Board Director under CDI.D, and an OCC Commissioned National Bank Examiner.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Business from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business, a certificate in International Finance and Politics from the London School of Business and Finance and a certificate in Cyber-Security Risk Management from Harvard.
