Richard is the CEO & Founder of the World Food Bank. Richard Lackey is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years of leadership experience in the trading and securities industry. Throughout his career, he has founded and led companies that were eventually sold to Goldman Sachs and eTrade, served as the managing director for five successful private funds, and authored three books on technical analysis and market analysis. He has had multiple securities licenses spanning equity, options & futures markets and has/presently served on boards including being Presidentially appointed to BIFAD (Board for International Agriculture andDevelopment) to advise USAID. Richard has expertise in understanding and identifying patterns in global markets and arbitrages. As CEO of ETS Capital Management, he identified a global calendar arbitrage that consistently earned 3%+ per month for almost three years resulting in asset growth of more than USD 160M.

Despite his success in the securities and trading industry, Richard has always been passionate about resolving world hunger and addressing global food security issues. His experiences in emergency medicine and medical relief teams in over a dozen countries exposed him to the devastating effects of poverty and hunger, leading him to believe that these issues can be addressed through better integration of industry and political systems that are market-driven, regenerative, and sustainable. As Chairman and CEO of the World Food Bank, Richard remains committed to his mission of addressing global hunger and food insecurity through sustainable ecosystems and market-driven solutions.
