Sebastian Raspanti
Sebastian Raspanti (known as Sebby) is a retired FDNY firefighter, 9/11 first responder, and advocate. He is well-known for his recovery from severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and toxic dust exposure after working at Ground Zero. [1, 2, 3]
Background and 9/11
- Grew up in Queens, New York, and played sports before attending St. John’s University.
- Inspired to become a firefighter because his mother was saved from a fire.
