This September, World Food Bank President Scott Brown will speak at the Royal African Society’s event “SDG Zero Hunger: Driving agricultural transformation in Africa.”
This event will be held on Thursday, September 13th in London and is presented by the Dalberg Group, Uhusiano Capital, Devex, and The Africa Club at London Business School.
Scott will be speaking during the event’s interactive pitch session, explaining The World Food Bank’s market-driven Hub & Spoke approach to creating food security by boosting the production of food on the African continent, improving nutrition and access to nutritious foods, and creating a reserve of shelf-stable food that can be accessed in times of crisis.
Other speakers at the event will also address how to create a thriving commercial sector within agribusiness opportunities to address food security in Africa while creating a thriving commercial sector.
